There are also two synthetic pieces on the band that will end up holding the actual watch to the band. I dont think that i will be able to get it over a glove or jacket sleeve without seriously stretching out the band. The product description available was also very vague and not very helpful. There are two plastic buckles on the band which allow you to adjust the fit to your wrist. I have only about 1 inch of expansion available with the watch. A lot of guys I work with have the same watch but I am the only one that has a watchband like this. One of the buckles is simply there to connect two ends to make a complete circle. In fact, I wear my watch 24/7 and notice it less than I used to.
When running or working it I have found that it does not shift around a lot or bounce on my writs. I was pleasantly surprised when I received this band. You can see both of those pieces in the pictures. I used to get the old watchband caught on a lot of things and I havent noticed that problem with this one. It is elastic, and reminds me of the same type of band you would find on a headlamp. It is very unobtrusive when being worn. Connecting the watch to the actual band is very simple. I was expecting something a little different because the picture available from Amazon was not large enough to show any detail.
It was advertised as being a good band that should fit over gloves and other bulky clothing. I really like this watch band. With the original band I had a problem with the band either being too tight or too loose, this one I can adjust to a perfect fit. Also, because the band is not made of plastic I am less worried about it breaking if it gets caught on something because it gives and flexes. Your done.
Find it comfortable, easy to use, and I really like the way it looks. I havent had a problem yet but I anticipate needing to wash this thing because I am working out with it every day.That is about it. Hope this helps. My wrist is 7.5 inches thick so if you are much bigger than that you might find the band too tight for you to comfortably wear.Additionally, because the band is cloth and elastic instead of plastic it absorbs sweat and water. If you purchase this watch band here is what you are going to get:The band itself is about two inches wide.
The way the sliding buckle moves it allows an infinite number of fits.Now for the low points. Now so far I havent had any issues with the watchband. The second buckle slides back and forth on the band to make the size adjustments. You simply remove the screws from your current band and watch, slip the watch onto the new band and reinsert the screws.
